CHIANTI AREA

Every season is good to visit Chianti. Spring and autumn are the best times, those in which the landscape and the climate are pleasant and the low season allows you to find less affluence and more advantageous prices. The countryside blooms and gives all its beauty.

  1. via Chiantigiana

  2. Greve in Chianti, considered the gateway to Chianti, with its famous Piazza del Mercatale, a place of exchange and trade since ancient times and the Wine Museum

  3. Montefioralle

  4. Castellina in Chianti

  5. Barberino Val d’Elsa

  6. Tavarnelle

  7. To conclude in San Casciano Val di Pesa, the last pretty village in Chianti where Machiavelli lived.

Whatever your destination in Chianti, it is impossible not to stop and taste its wine. The chianti wine-growing area is wider than the countries that make it up and that make up the Chianti Classico. Many farms and farms require reservations, for others it is enough to show up but it is always preferable to get in touch first to organize an excellent tasting.

For tastings of Chianti, and visits to the cellars, I will be happy to help you finding the best place                   that suit your preferences.
